LGBT rights in Belarus : ウィキペディア英語版 | LGBT rights in Belarus
Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) persons in Belarus face legal challenges and abuse not experienced by non-LGBT residents. Both male and female same-sex sexual activity are legal in Belarus. Households headed by same-sex couples are not eligible for the same legal protections available to opposite-sex couples. Same-sex sexual activity was legalized in Belarus in 1994. However, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights in Belarus are still severely limited and homosexuality remains highly taboo in Belarusian society. Many Belarusian people believe "homosexuality is a psychiatric illness" and many LGBT persons in Belarus tend to hide their sexual orientation. Those who are "out" face harassment, violence and physical abuse. ==Issues==
